On Android, in apps such as WhatsApp, when you receive a message you are given the option to "Reply", "Mark as read", or "Mute".

On the Pillars app, when you get a notification to pray, it would great if we had the option to "Mark as prayed", which would mark the prayer as completed in the tracker.
