As in Ramadan starts 1st March in Arab
Whereas Ramadan in South Asian countries like Bangladesh, India, Pakistan(probably) starts after a day (2nd March) and Eid is also celebrated after a day of Arab.

So, it will be very convenient for us muslims in South Asian countries to have an option to edit the Hijri calender.
